Not a gnome on it I think, rather this mouse has just wisely deployed an outer defensive layer of gnome to thwart the cat's advance. I dare say it knows what it is doing!

Adorable none the less. I particularly like the gnome's expression.

This is my Yule tree (Norwegian: Juletre), decorated today. Only one light was broken when I turned them on, and swiftly replaced with a working one. Maybe I'll make some Yule baskets later. We usually decorate the Yule tree with rows of little flags too, but I don't have any. My parents' tree probably will though - I'll see if I can take a picture of that too sometime today or tomorrow.
