I want feedback on maybe some deities, and titbit of history, anything is appreciated.

I will scan the map i got so far and add it so you can see how it looks

Planet name:
Elgeon

Climate:
So far the adventurers have been in temperate areas, similar to southern Norway, but I'm not entirely sure how the year/seasons are going to be. I am considering making slight seasonal changes for the 4 seasons, and make it like in Game of Thrones where hard and long winters lasting for years exist.


History:
In progress, not much written down yet.

Pantheon:
Pantheon will have 18 deities at current point, making it 2 of each alignment type found in Pathfinder system

Lawful Good, Lawful Neutral, Lawful Evil
Neutral Good, Neutral, Neutral Evil
Chaotic Good, Chaotic Neutral, and Chaotic Evil.

These are the current alignments in Pathfinder.

Still in progress


Continents:
The adventures is take place on continent called Lands of the Rolling Thunder. Though it has no official name as of yet.

Countries:
No names yet, but hopefully some will come up eventually.


Sentient races/player races:
Humans
Halflings
Gnomes
Rat people (or Ratonga, if you prefer)
Cat people
Lizard folk (multiple variants depending on climate)
Orcs
Half-Orcs
Elves (Very rare, since they've been naughty trying to kill off all other non-elf races)
Half-elf
is my list so far.

Humans are everywhere, except in the deepest caverns in the underworld.

Halflings are almost everywhere also, except the in biggest human cities, which are too noisy.

Gnomes, mostly found near inventors, labs, or in big cities as crackpot inventors.

Rat people, they are everywhere, they aren't very common, but they are found wherever non-elf people are.

Cat people, they mostly keep to themselves in large forests as far away from humans as they can, though they are known to travel.

Lizard folk are mostly found where humans or other races aren't, they prefer to be left alone, although not hostile, they prefer to keep, to their own.

Orcs are found out and about, they generally keep to themselves, due to their monstrous appearance and odour, they are for the most part peaceful farmers living in small hunter-gatherer villages, however there are war bands of orcs roaming the lands pillaging and looting, these particular orcs are known to take human prisoners, and often breed with their captive human slaves.

While stronger half-orcs are generally accepted as members of the orcish war bands they are born into, the more human-like of their kind who manage to escape slavery often seek a life of freedom in the larger human cities. These half-orcs sometimes attempt to hide their heritage in order to avoid prejudice from other races, and have been known to dye their skin, file down their teeth and surgically alter their ears. This is also the case with escaped half-elf slaves, who face even greater risks if their true identity is revealed.

Elves are an extremely hostile and racist race. They hate all other races, and see it as their mission to terminate all other humanoid lifeforms. They see themselves as perfection in evolution. The elves are divided into two warring factions, one faction is extremely xenophobic and wants to exterminate every non-elf in the world. The other faction enslaves the non-elf humanoids they encounter rather than killing them, forcing their captives to work in mines deep underground. All known half-elves derive from this slave keeping faction, and those who are unable to escape the underground slave pens generally spend their entire lives in the darkness of the mines, working alongside their human mothers.

Looks good so far, I just have one question - if all elves are extremely hostile and racist, how are there half elves at all? That goes for the half orcs too, if humans find orcs smelly and monstrous looking and all the orcs are peaceful and mostly keep to themselves, why are there half orcs? I'd imagine both half orcs and half elves would be extremely rare.

You'll update the section on orcs to say that most are farmers, and include the bit about roaming war bands then? :) It would also be good to have some background information about why there are roaming orc war bands when orcs in general are peaceful farmers.

I still find it hard to believe that a half elf child would be allowed to grow up at all, the way you portray elves (as a xenophobic nazi society) I don't really see them voluntarily taking part in any action that might result in a half breed child, nor would they allow one to live if an elf female had been violated. After all, you write that the elves "see it as their mission is to terminate all other humanoid lifeforms" - surely that includes half-breeds. And with the elves having rendered themselves hated by all other humanoid species, I'm not sure a half elf child would be allowed to live in a human society either.

If you want to have half-elves, it might be easier if you change the elf "philosophy" from the nazi-like "exterminate the non-elves" to "enslave the non-elves"? Or perhaps better: have a "moderate" faction of elves who just want to enslave the non-elves (and use the half elves as slaves too), then you could have an added conflict between the extremist and the moderate elves, another reason elves are so rare - they are killing off eachother as well. In this scenario the rare half elves found in the cities could be run away half elf slaves, possibly trying to hide their heritage - ear surgery? Maybe one could offer a quest to rescue their younger sibling from slavery, once they are sure that the adventurers are open minded enough that it is safe to reveal their true identity as a half elf?

I was thinking of dividing the elves into faction, the extemist xenophobic who wants genocide on all "inferior races", one that hates the other races, enslaves them and uses them as work force, third is more secluded they dont interfere with the others, and the fourth that has the more tolerant and including policy, however they are constantly warring with the other faction, which weakens the elven population even further.

(This could have an added twist - maybe the sibling (angry at the older sibling who "abandoned" them) betrays the adventurers in the hope that he/she will be released from slavery and accepted as a "proper" elf in moderate elf society?)

Personally I think I'd just go for the two nasty factions of elves, moderate (slavers) and extreme (exterminate! exterminate!).

I wouldn't know, I haven't watched enough of that to know what a Cyberman is. I just like the idea of all the elves being completely and utterly nasty for a change (though Pratchett did that too, of course).

Will each species have their own set of gods, or will some overlap, or will there be one set of gods for all species? Maybe the elves have their own set, since they are so obsessed with their own superiority? Perhaps they worship one of their own, an ancient ancestor ascended to god status?

Since orcs are mostly farmers, their deities are perhaps focused on fertility and rain. Could the roaming war bands be part of a banned sect, worshipping an old (orcish) god of destruction?

Most races will have some race specific gods and mythos, but many are overlapping. For example Dwarves will have their own god of smithy/iron/steel etc. But there are main gods that are shared between all, like god of trickery, god of below/earth, god of war, etc like in Everquest.

The elves are worshipping some ancestor who rose to godhood, which got twisted into an evil god.

I suspect the war band of orcs have been corrupted by some other means like an evil outsider like a devil or demon or a god not belonging to this realm
