Does anyone out there besides me still play this? Or have you played it in the past?

I never did play it online, just over the LAN with my boyfriend.

Spent a ton of time playing D1 with the better half, we played a fair amount of diablo 2 as well but I haven't touched it in years tbh. heck at this point I'd probably have to buy the thing again to play it.

i still have that game on my hard drive and play it once in a while when eq2 bores me enough to give my old hammerdin or the javama a bit of love.

I have actually re-installed it a while back, and have started to play online again once in a while. RL is just too busy, even been off Eq2 for almost 8 month now ...

I'm sad that D3 will require battlenet connection. Most of my D2 playtime was by myself or networked with hubby, only time I ever logged into battlenet was for updates.

Yes, once again stupid DRM makes life harder for the paying customers while pirates (squeek! ) enjoy a much smoother ride.
